Saying goodbye to 2015 and a HUGE hello to 2016

Merry Christmas everyone! 

Welcome to all of our new artists who have started their own fantastic business! 
Our November was fantastic yet again!  We had many team promotions which was a result of hard work and dedication.  
December is also exciting as we help customers complete their shopping lists and make their gifts that much more personal! 
We are here cheering those on who are working on promotions!  

2015 has been a whirlwind year with LOTS of growth in the company and on this team.  
We have added MANY new business partners from hobbyists to career minded men and woman.  
We have some of the top producers in the entire company on this team and that is something that inspires me personally everyday.  These woman continue to show us how you can reach your goals and even exceed them! 
My goal in 2015 was to continue instilling our value of "keeping it classy" and the reality that Top performers on this team are doing exactly what you are doing - socials, events and delivering amazing customer service!


As we move into 2016 (can't believe it) and our 3rd year as a team, I am VERY excited and ready to burst with what is coming to our product line! 
Stay tuned for January as we launch 2 new concepts to our South Hill line.  
It is time to book your January with socials if you haven't already and really take advantage of the new releases.

You may have heard by now that our new catalogue is being pushed until March and this is because we will be having yet another large release and the company wanted to make sure they were all included in the newest catalog!!  

2016 is going to be the turning point in this company that all of us have been waiting for! 
For those who started in the beginning with me and worked through the many "bumps" from a 4 page catalog to US pricing to a VERY empty back office - I thank you! 
To the new artists who have just joined us, CONGRATS you are joining at an incredible time and are TRULY set up or success!  

With the addition of Belinda Ellsworth to our South Hill Corporate training team we are in for a very robust year with all of her easy to use systems and scripts! 


I want to send out a HUGE thank you to those who have been helping artists fill last minute orders and helping during our Out of Stock time. These artists are not obligated to help or to give up their inventory.

The importance of Positivity



Whether it's in our businesses or our lives often we find ourselves over whelmed by everything we have to do... How can we possibly do all of these tasks in such a short amount of time? Can't I take a break and enjoy some "me time"?



The truth for most of us though is that the feeling of being over whelmed is coming from our perception of the tasks at hand rather than the reality of them, and work doesn't have to feel like a chore!




For me, as I'm sure many others, one of the most daunting tasks is the follow up calls. Though I know they are supposed to be made within 24 hours, I look at them as this long event I have to psych myself up for and sit in a quiet space for hours at a time to do, so of course with that mindset they don’t often get done...


If rather than thinking of them as something on my to do list though I looked at them as catching up with a friend and even a favour I was doing for her (rather than the annoyance we sometimes think they are to our leads), that could become my free time (since after all isn't catching up with friends something we all do in our free time anyway?) It's important to remember your “why” because this shouldn't be a job you need a break from! Even if not every task is one you want to do, it’s a step in achieving something you do want or important to you for another reason, you never have to do anything this business and that’s important to remember!


The difference between people who are successful and those who aren’t is mostly just mindset, so stay positive, and share your love of South Hill!
